What do I do if my cat needs emergency care?
If your cat is involved in an accident or is unwell and you think they might need urgent care, the first thing you should do is call us.
While you probably want to put them in the car and take them into us right away, we recommend calling us because we may be able to advise as to whether it is definitely an emergency or not, as well as provide you with information and advice of ways you can make your pet more comfortable and the best way to transport them to see us.
While you don’t need an appointment to see us, by calling us first, it allows us to prepare for the situation too.
